Room near a friend?
Many people have already noticed that there is no option to request location in this year's Reunion Registration process. However, you can request to have your room be located near a friend - and you have a better chance of it happening if she requests you too! Both of you should email:
reunionregistration@smith.edu
and request to be located near each other. The AASC will do its best, but remember it is Commencement weekend so we are spread among three Houses due to Sophomore Push, Junior Ushers, the Seniors and the A Capella groups all still occupying their own rooms on campus.
Words of Wisdom Project
As a gift to the graduating Seniors of this year's Class of 2017, each classmate from 1977 is invited to write a letter with her personal Words of Wisdom to a Senior. Each letter will then be given, randomly and anonymously, to a Senior on Ivy Day.
The "letter" can be short or long, a card or a poem, anything you would like that reaches out with your sincere advice, experience, knowledge and wisdom to our newest batch of Smithies about to go forth into the world. If you like, you can sign your letter and add an address or an email, or not; it’s your choice.
We ask that you bring 6 copies of your letter, sealed in individual envelopes, to our Class HQ at Reunion by Friday at 10:00 PM. Your Reunion Team will then place each letter in a felt keepsake pouch
and these will be placed under the Seniors chairs at Ivy Day as a surprise gift from members of the Class of 1977.

Oral History Project
Since 2010, the College has been videotaping short interviews with returning alumnae, on Friday and Saturday of Reunion, about their college experiences. These memories and stories help to fill in the gaps in the College Archives about what it was like to be a student here. The interviews are conducted by current students, are filmed by professional videographers, and then transcribed. Interviewees will get a copy of the video and the transcript by the end of the summer. Sounds fun! Learn more...
